Extent. Munnection’s Privacy Policy covers all of Munnection. By signing up for Munnection, you agree to our privacy policy.

Users. You can sign up for Munnection if you are an MUNer or somehow related to MUN. Minors who are under age 13 can not register for Munnection, if you are under age 13 please do not attempt to sign up. If Munnection Team detects minors who are under age 13, the personal information collected from them will be deleted.

A. Information Munnection Receives

Information About Users. You provide Munnection with your name, e-mail, birthdate, school and gender when you register for it. Once you sign up, you can add further information about yourself to your profile. Information may include uploading your photo or listing your MUN experiences. Munnection may collect information about you from other Munnection users when you interact with them.

Content. You can share content by using Munnection, such as posting shout outs on Free Board, taking measures regarding entries on Free Board, and leaving messages on friends’ profiles. Please remove any metadata before uploading content, if you do not wish Munnection to hold metadata related to you. Munnection has the right to hold metadata if you do not remove it before uploading content.

Site Activity and Access Information. Munnection may follow your actions, such as posting shout outs on Free Board or adding friends to your profile, in attempt to track site activity. Munnection may also collect information about your browser type, IP address, the date and time you visit the website through your device.

B. Information You Share

Name, Profile Picture and MUN Experience. Munnection aims to improve communication among the MUN society and make it easy for its users to contact with their fellow MUNers. Therefore, Munnection shares your name, profile picture and MUN experience that you provide while signing up for Munnection with all of its users.

Free Board. When a user posts a shout out on Free Board of Munnection, the information that is provided by the user is available to the whole network. All measures that are taken, such as seconding or objecting, regarding entries on Free Board are also available to the whole Munnection network.

Other Personal Information and Content. Information you provided for Munnection other than your name, profile picture and MUN experience will only be available to users that you list as friends. This information may include your friend list or contact information.

C. How Munnection Use, Share and Protect Your Information

Using Information. Munnection uses the information it collects to provide service to its users, improve its existing features and create new platforms to increase communication among the MUN society. Munnection also uses the information to contact to its users in order to share new features or provide user support, as well as to supplement their profiles.

Sharing Information. Munnection shares your information with your friends. The extent of information that is provided by a user depends on his or her decision. Munnection does not share your personal information with users that are not listed as friends in your profile. When users invite their friends to join Munnection, part of their information is shared in their invitation.

Third Parties. Munnection does not share any information that is provided by any of its users with third parties.
